Le 20146 in Sotta: a simple place… and one of the best burgers in Southern Corsica
Some places are discovered almost by chance and quickly become part of your routine. Le 20146, located in the heart of Sotta, is clearly one of them. We discovered it in April 2026 during our last stay at BellaSotta, while preparing the house for its villa rental in Southern Corsica. The days were long, filled with errands and preparations, and we were looking for something simple, quick and easy. That’s when we stopped here for a meal… and unexpectedly found what is, for us, one of the best burgers in Southern Corsica.
Simple, local cooking done exceptionally well
At first glance, the restaurant doesn’t stand out. No elaborate decor, no staging, just simplicity. And yet, within minutes, you realise you are in the right place. The team is small, with two people in the kitchen and one in the dining area, creating a warm, almost family-like atmosphere. Anthony and Morgane, both from Sotta, welcome guests with genuine kindness. Conversations flow naturally, stories are shared, and very quickly, you feel at ease.
But what truly makes the difference is the food. The cheeseburger is generous and perfectly balanced, made with quality ingredients. The Corsican burger, with its more distinctive local flavours, is simply outstanding. And the homemade fries… crispy, golden and served hot, clearly elevate the experience. The wood-fired pizzas are also a great option, with a simple yet effective menu, from the Margherita (€9.50) to more indulgent recipes around €12, such as the Reine, Three-cheese pizza, or the 20146 pizza with figatellu and sheep’s cheese. Overall, the prices remain very reasonable, which makes this place even more valuable in a region where dining can quickly become expensive.
The perfect spot for easy evenings at Bella Sotta
What we particularly love about Le 20146 is its simplicity. You can enjoy your meal on site and soak up the village atmosphere, or choose takeaway. And in that case, everything becomes even easier. In just three minutes from Bella Sotta, you can pick up burgers or pizzas, head back to the house, and enjoy them in the peaceful setting of the Corsican maquis, on the terrace or by the pool.
This is exactly the kind of place that makes sense when staying in a villa rental in Southern Corsica. On evenings when you don’t feel like going out, when you want something good, quick and effortless, without compromising on quality. We went back several times during our stay, and each time, the experience was just as enjoyable. Simple, efficient and authentic.
A local address that gets everything right
In areas like Porto-Vecchio and Bonifacio, where some restaurants can become very busy and sometimes more tourist-oriented, Le 20146 remains true to its identity. Straightforward cooking, well-prepared dishes, a warm welcome and, above all, consistency. That combination makes it a place we naturally recommend to our guests.
When staying at Bella Sotta, you quickly realise that true luxury is not only found in high-end restaurants or spectacular settings. It is also in these small, local places where you can eat well without overthinking it. Le 20146 is definitely one of them.
